Ruhaan Shaikh and Yug Prabhu booked their spots in the U13 Boys final of the Priority Gaspar Dias Open All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025, powered by Priority Constructions and held under the aegis of the Goa Table Tennis Association, at the club premises in Miramar.
Ruhaan was in fine form as he outclassed Yuvaan Sanke 3-0 in the semi-final, while Yug showed resilience to edge past Vedant Wagle 3-2 in a tense five-setter. Earlier in the quarter-finals, Kaushik Nair, Kavish Dalvi, Noel Kurian, and Ishaan Colaso bowed out after putting up spirited displays.
In the U13 Girls category, Aarna Lotlikar staged a thrilling fightback to defeat Aayushi Amonkar 3-2, while Sachi Desai registered a convincing 3-0 win over Gianna George to advance to the final. Quarter-final exits were recorded by Samaira Verlekar, Inara D’Souza, Tisha Shaikh, and Kavyaa Khalap.
Meanwhile, the U15 Girls event produced a mouth-watering final line-up as top seed Ishita Colaso eased past Tisha Shaikh 3-0, while Gianna George stunned second seed Aarna Lotlikar 3-0 in the other semi-final. The earlier round saw Kavyaa Khalap, Aayushi Amonkar, Samaira Verlekar, and Anaya Srivastava bow out in the quarters.
