Vedanta Sesa Goa commenced its efforts for the #RunForZeroHunger at a walkathon organized at Patto, Panjim. The initiative has been undertaken as part of the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon (VDHM) 2025 and will culminate on October 12.

It entails all participants register on the Step Set Go app and for each km logged on the map, Vedanta would contribute a ‘Poshan Pack’ for a child & a nutritious meal for animals. The overall target is to contribute 5 million ‘Poshan Packs. Organized under the aegis of the Anil Agarwal Foundation, VDHM 2025 represents a call for coming together in the fight against hunger.

The inaugural event was organized at Patto, Panjim and flagged off by Navin Jaju, CEO, Vedanta Sesa Goa, and witnessed participation from employees and business partners. Speaking on the occasion, Navin Jaju, CEO, Sesa Goa, said, “Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon (VDHM) is a much-awaited event as it connects, through the #RunForZeroHunger, with the noble aim of a hunger free world. Over the past editions of the VDHM, we, at Sesa Goa, have contributed over 1 million meals to the nutritional needs of children and animals. VDHM enables us to 'give back' meaningfully to society & also promotes personal well-being while encouraging a physically active life-style. Through the #RunForZeroHunger, we are uniting wellness with purpose, and together, we are joining a movement aimed at making the wolifestyleer place.”

VDHM has emerged as one of Vedanta Group’s most impactful social campaigns. The #RunForZeroHunger is gaining strong momentum across India, with ~40000 participants already registered on the ‘Step, Set, Go’ app and contributing ~ 2 million out of the overall target of 5 million ‘Poshan Packs’.
