Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda prevailed over Nuvem Sports Club 7–6 via a tense tiebreaker to secure a spot in the quarterfinals of the 14th Our Lady of Fatima Cup 2025, organized by Dicarpale Sports Club and played at the Dicarpale ground on Friday.
Nuvem SC drew first blood through Ivo Colaco, who opened the scoring in the 9th minute. However, Don Bosco Oratory fought back and found the equalizer in the 70th minute, courtesy of Hanshlum Furtado, taking the match to a 1–1 draw at full-time.
In the ensuing penalty shootout, Don Bosco Oratory converted six of their spot-kicks through Hanshlum Furtado, Velito Miranda, Milson Barreto, Edger Noronha, Alfred Noronha, and Charles Miranda.
For Nuvem SC, Albinho Pereira, Melvin Fernandes, Shenoy Colaco, Frazer Miranda, and Ivo Colaco found the net, but their efforts fell just short.
Albinho Pereira of Nuvem Sports Club was adjudged Man of the Match and received the award from Francisco Carvalho.
