MARGAO: Santa Cruz Boys, Sirvodem, entered the semifinals after defeating SFX Fradilem 7–5 via the tie-breaker in the TYC Trophy football tournament, organised by the Telaulim Youth Club at the Government Primary School grounds, Telaulim, on Tuesday.
The match ended in a goalless draw at full time, forcing the tie-breaker, where Santa Cruz Boys, Sirvodem proved to be the better shooters to seal their place in the semifinals.
Donald Dias presented the Man of the Match award to Ganesh of Santa Cruz Boys, Sirvodem.
