Goa went down 0-4 to Services Sports Control Board in their 79th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy 2025-26 match at the Bangalore Football Stadium on Saturday.

Services dominated from the start, with Abhishek Pawar opening the scoring in the 59th minute and added a second goal in the 64th minute to put Goa on the back foot. They further extended their lead in the 67th minute through Roshan Panna, and Vijay J struck in the 69th minute to make it 4-0, effectively sealing the contest.

Goa tried to respond with substitutions including Joshua D’Silva, Vellington Fernandes, and Shridharnath Gawas, but struggled to break down a well-organised Services defence.

Despite brief attacking intent from players, Goa were unable to create meaningful chances and conceded a comprehensive defeat.
