The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) has announced the Senior Men’s squad for the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025–26, scheduled to be held at Jaipur from December 24 to January 8. Deepraj Gaonkar has been named captain of the Goa Senior Men’s team, while Snehal Kauthankar will serve as vice-captain.
The squad reflects a healthy blend of experienced campaigners and promising talent as Goa aims to deliver strong performances in the premier domestic one-day tournament.
Speaking on the occasion, GCA President and former Ranji cricketer Mahesh Dessai said, “We have selected a well-balanced squad with players who have consistently performed at the domestic level. Deepraj Gaonkar has shown maturity and leadership, and we are confident the team will compete with discipline and intent. The Vijay Hazare Trophy is an important platform, and we expect our players to give their best and make Goa proud.”
The team will be supported by GCA Secretary Shri Tulshidas Shetye, Director of Coaching and Cricket Operations Prakash Mayenkar, Head Coach Milap Mewada, and Assistant Coach Doda Ganesh.
