The World Legends Pro T20 League (WLPTL), in association with Goa Tourism, brought its iconic trophy straight to fans. This gave cricket lovers across Goa a chance to see the trophy up close, create memories, click photos, and share the excitement ahead of the tournament’s opening festivities at the 1919 Sportz Stadium, Verna. The anticipation is building for the league, which kicks off with a grand opening concert by Sunidhi Chauhan on 25 January, followed by the first match on 26 January, with finals set to take place on 4 February.
The trophy was spotted at Chapora Fort & Baga Beach. Fans lined up along the beautiful coastline to catch the first glimpse of the trophy, capturing photos with the silverware against the backdrop of the fort and the sea. The second day of the tour saw the trophy visit at Mangueshi Temple, Palolem Beach, and Mapusa Market. The tour continued to spread cricket fever across Goa, bringing together the state’s cultural, spiritual, and community hotspots.
