The AIFF disciplinary committee at its meeting held at AIFF Football House on Monday in New Delhi, took up the case of FC Goa-Chennaiyin FC ISL final.
A written representation on Monday (Jan 25,2016) was furnished and oral submissions were made by Anish Dayal, Advocate, for and on behalf of FC Goa in this regard. The issues were discussed at length.
FC Goa requested to grant them two weeks time to furnish their detailed submission, as they did not have enough time to watch the video footage and match DVD received by them from AIFF due to time constraint.
AIFFDC granted FC Goa two weeks time to submit their final reply.
Meanwhile, Mandar Rao Desai and Romeo Fernandes (both Dempo Sports club footballers) failed to report to preparatory camp for SAFF Suzuki Cup. AIFFDC advised AIFF to send show cause notices to individual players as to why disciplinary action shall not be taken against them for not reporting to the preparatory camp on time. The reply should reach AIFF within 15 days of receipt of the show cause notice, it was decided.
On the other hand, Delhi Dynamos FC (DDFC) have requested for review of sanction against Adil Nabi in their match against FC Goa played on December 15, 2015. DDFC was represented by Vikram Singh for and on behalf of DDFC.
AIFFDC decided that since no new facts or evidence or proof produced and/or discovered in the instant case, hence there is no change in award pronounced earlier, as no case is made out to review under Art-143 of AIFF Disciplinary Code.
