Arjun poised for triple crown

Arjun Fallary is poised for a triple crown while Yash Kunkalienker, Yasmin Sayed, Sushil Nayak and Rudra Dukle are all vying for double title at the 12th Manohar Dhond Memorial Major Ranking Badminton Tournament, organised in collaboration with Goa Badminton Association and the Sports Authority of Goa, at Campal indoor stadium.
Arjun almost made it into his fourth finals, but lost the under-19 boys singles narrowly to second-seeded Yash Kunkalienker in a hard-fought match. In the other under-19semi-final, top seed Aashrun Gautam was in control as he breezed past Parth Kantak with ease. In under-19 girls singles finals, Yasmin will face the stiff challenge of top seed Anjana Kumari. The under-17 boys singles will be a tough contest between Shushil Nayak and Arjun Fallary who have won one title apiece in this category this season.
