Bhatikar Model HS-Margao beat Almeida High School-Ponda by 9 wickets in the under-14 GCA President’s Cup 2018. Winning the toss at GCA ground-Sanguem, Almeida elected to bat. They were bowled out for 57 runs in 15.4 overs. Namish Shirodkar was the top-scorer with 24 runs from 28 deliveries. Bhatikar bowlers lead by Sanat Nevgi (4-0-18-4) were very impressive. Deep Kasvankar picked up 3 wickets while Shrey Singh claimed one wicket.
In reply, Bhatikar Model romped home 58/1 in 11 overs. Sanat Nevgi put up an all-round show as he remained unbeaten on 30 off 20 balls. Shivam Prabhu was 12 not out while Gaurang Shirodkar scored 10 runs.
