CAC Cansaulim stunned Salgaocar FC 2-1 in a GFA U-14 League match played at TB Cunha Sports Complex, Cansaulim, on Tuesday.
CAC put up a strong fight from the word go and deservingly took the lead in the 8th minute through Jerico Vaz. However, Yash Pawar made it all square for Salgaocar FC in the 16th minute. The scores were level at the break. Crossing over, CAC Cansaulim scored the winning goal through their star player Om H in the 43rd minute.
Meanwhile at Velsao ground, Benfica Youth Club and AA de Majorda played out a drab draw.
At Chicalim ground, Rohan Yadav scored a double hat-trick as Betalbatim Sporting Club scored a resounding 14-0 win over Baina Sports Club.
At Don Bosco ground, Panaji, Portais Sporting Club registered a narrow 1-0 win over Don Bosco Oratory Panaji. The only goal of the game was scored in the seventh minute of the play by
Faraaz Naik.
