St Anthony's Sports Club, Colva rallied from behind to defeat Wilred Leisure Sports Club 4-3 via tiebreaker to march into the finals of All Goa 39th Cana Benaulim Soccer tournament organized by Cana Benaulim Sporting Association at St John the Baptist ground, Dando-Benaulim on Monday. St Anthony's Sports Club were trailing 0-1 at the lemon break.

Both the teams started the game in an attacking fashion, but Wilred Leisure wrested the control of the match with their forwards unleashing a couple of pot shots against the rival goal. Wilred Leisure's breakthrough came in the 18th minute when Velson Fernandes beat the rival goalkeeper with assist from Marcus.

Crossing over, St Anthony's Sports Club looked composed but their opponents were rock solid at the back. St Anthony's Sports Club had a golden chance to level the scores but Jesus Cardozo failed to beat the rival goalkeeper in a one to one situation.

With time running out, St Anthony's Sports Club made last ditch efforts and their struggles bore the fruit when Jesus Cardozo atoned for his earlier miss and bulges the nets off a Jovisco Fernandes cross.

In the penalty shootout, Nelson Gomes, Jesus Cardozo and Ronnie Fernandes converted for St Anthony's Sports Club while Neville Fernandes and Velson Fernandes found the mark for Wilred Leisure Sports Club.
