Candolim Sport Club defeated Sinquerlim Sport Club by 1-0 and advanced through final of 3rd All Goa Late Musa Ali Aga Memorial football tournament sponsored by Shukur Aga organised by Eagle Sport Club at Sanquelim ground on Wednesday.

The lone 70th minute goal by Bhavesh Khandolkar helped Candolim SC reach the finals.

Both teams had ample of opportunities to score goals but missed to convert the same.

MARGAOVerna Veterans got the better of Chinchinim Veterans 4-3 via the tie-breaker at Dr Gustavo Monteiro ground, Candolim. There was no score at full time. In the ensuing tie-breaker, Verna scored through Remedio Barretto, Seby Vaz, Sandeep Shankar and John Miranda.Chinchinim netted through Prakash Chari, Josh Dias and Babush Bose. Man-of-the-Match award went to Chinchinim’s Presley Pereira.
