Keegan Bast scored a fine brace as CDJ Ribandar recorded a convincing 5-1 win over Football Club of Neura in the Goa Football Association Second Division League Ilhas Zone match at Taleigao ground, on Tuesday.
Keegan who came as a second half substitute and completed his brace in the span of seven minutes scoring the first in the 77th minute before completing his brace in the 84th minute. CDJ Ribandar took the lead in the 18th minute through Kishan K and doubled the lead in the 21st minute through Vishal Adkonkar. Abhijeet Naik scored the third for Ribandar just before the breather as the winners led 3-0 at the break. In the second session, FC Neura were a transformed side and dominated the initial moments of the game. They managed to pull a goal back through P Mayekar. Finally, CDJ Ribandar scored two more goals late in the game through Keegan.
