Cdr Bhatia, Angela for Asian Beach Games

Cdr. CM Bhatia and Angela Naik of Goa will represent India at the 5th Asian Beach Games to be held at Danang, Vietnam from Sept 24- Oct 4, 2016 in Ju-Jitsu events.

Cdr. CM Bhatia is the Secretary General of Ju-Jitsu Association of India and President(JAI) of Ju-Jitsu Association of Goa(JAG) while Angela Naik is General Secretary of JAG.

Cdr. Bhatia has been appointed as Head of Team of JAI delegation and will represent India and JAI at the Electoral Congress of the JJIF and vote on hehalf of JAI to elect the new President of the JJIF.

JU-JITSU is a recognized sporting event of the Asian Games, The Asian Indoor Games, The Asian Beach Games under the Olympic Council of Asia. Ju-Jitsu is also included in the World Games and in the SportAccord World Combat Games under the IOC. JAG is the affiliated Member of the JAI, Ju-Jitsu International Federation, the Asian body Ju-Jitsu Asian Union recognized by the OCA.

Ju-Jitsu is an exciting and dynamic combat sport and self defense system that has been propagated in India for over ten years with regular National championships being conducted. A strong contingent of 23 Ju-Jitsu Athletes and officials, cleared by IOA will be participating and representing India at the 5th Asian Beach Games at Danang Vietnam.
