Chicago Boys, Sanguem beat host MB United Sports Club by 28 runs to clinch the 2nd All Goa Cricket Tournament organised by MB United Sports and Cultural Club, Cuncolim at Murida Ground. Chicago Boys won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 94 runs in their allotted 5 overs. Chasing 95 runs to win, MB United scored 66 runs in 5 overs. Chicago Boys were richer by Rs 50,000 while MB United had to settle for Rs 30,000.
Santosh Fal Dessai, social worker was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of Guests of Honour Elvis Gomes, former GFA president; Sammy Tavares, SP, Konkan Railways; Sudesh Bhise, social worker; Tony Fernandes, SP (Retd); Prashant Naik, Prop of P&P Builders; Rohidas Dadd Dessai, prop of Ritz Classic, Panaji; Kedar and Nitin Kalekar.
Man of the tournament - Nikit Goankar (Chicago Boys), Best Batsman of the tournament - Yogesh Dessai (MB United), Best Bowler of the tournament - Santosh Madhval (MB United), Most Sixes of the tournament - Mohit Gaonkar (Chicago Boys), Best Catch of the tournament - Yogesh Dessai (MB United) and Man of the Match in final - Nikit Gaonkar.
