Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao defeated Dempo SC 1-0 in the GFA U-14 North Goa finals. The all-important goal for CSM came in the 65th minute from a corner taken by Anish Konkonkar with an exquisite placement headed into the back of the nets by Shivam Vishwakarma.
CSM junior custodian Rambahadur Pun was outstanding under the bar, stopping several efforts from the Dempo attackers. Earlier in the semi-finals, the Taleigao lads had defeated Sporting Clube de Goa 3-1 via the tie-breaker.
