Karen Estrocio netted a hat-trick for Don Bosco College

Don Bosco College, Panjim thrashed Narayan Zantye College, Bicholim 7-0 in the inter-collegiate championship, at Goa University, Taleigao, on Friday.
In the first half, Don Bosco College scored five goals. Karen Estrocio netted a hat-trick while Aqsa Sayed and Aaroshi Govekar scored a goal each. Post-resumption, Thais Mascarenhas and Manisha Salgaonkar also got their names on the scoresheet.
In the second match, Rosary College, Navelim registered a comfortable 4-0 victory over Vidhya Prabodhini College, Parvari.
Clency Miranda opend the Rosary account in the first half. In the second half, Rosary College showcasing strong offensive play, netted three goal, were in two goals were scored by Lillian Fernandes and one by Aniela Barretto.
At Rosary College ground, Navelim, St Xavier’s College, Mapusa thumped VMS College of Law, Miramar 5-0.
In the first half, St Xavier’s College scored through Dhanashri Naik's hat-trick and one by Pushpa Parab. In the second half, Pushpa completed her brace which confirmed their seat for the semi-finals. In the second match at Navelim, DM's College and Research Centre, Assagao pipped Carmel College, Nuvem by full time score of 1-0.
Sanjana Mavlankar scored the lone goal of the match.
