Corps of Signals will take on FC Bardez Goa in the TACA Goa U-20 League at the Corps of Signals Ground Navelim on Thursday.
Corps of Signals will be looking to salvage something out of the game. Signals are currently in ninth spot having only 3 points out of 4 matches. They lost their last game against Vasco SC 2-1. Corps will again have a lot of support as the game will be played at their home ground.
FC Bardez will also look to get something about the game. FCBG are currently in fourth spot having played 5 matches with 6 points. FCBG had a shaky start as they couldn’t get the points. FCBG played Vasco SC in their previous match and managed to salvage a 1-1 draw. FC Bardez Gaffer Climax Lawrence has a full squad at his disposal as the squad has had a long rest after their previous game.
FC Bardez coach Climax Lawrence said, “It is an important game for us and we will try to win. My boys are all ready for the game. We only have three matches remaining and I want to finish in the top 3. I’m sure we will do it.”
FCBG striker Ronil Azavedo said, “We are ready and we will give it our all. We had a good break and everyone is fit. We want to prove it to everyone that we can win.”
