Sale of tickets for the FC Goa-Bengaluru FC ISL encounter at the Nehru stadium got underway unofficially at the SAG grounds, Fatorda on Monday with the organisers opening the ticket counter so as not to disappoint the soccer fans who had come from far off places.
After finding a group of soccer fans standing in a queue at the SAG ground with the hope of buying a ticket for the November 30 match, the organisers opened the ticket counter unofficially, selling tickets to the fans around, though the official sale of ticket will start only on Tuesday.
With FC Goa starting the campaign on a winning note by defeating FC Chenniyan, the organisers are expecting the supporters of the Goan outfit to turn up in large numbers to lay their hands on the tickets for the FC Goa-Bengaluru tie.
In the previous editions of the Indian Super League, FC Goa supporters were seen making a beeline for the tickets, with many a crazy soccer fans even camping overnight at the SAG grounds, just to get their hands on the prized ticket. A member of the organising committee told The Goan that sale of tickets at the SAG ground counter will start at 11 am on Tuesday.
Online sales begin
Meanwhile, sale of match day tickets for FC Goa's first three home games is now live on www.insider.in. Fans can look forward to attractive new prices this season, the club said in a release.
For those who have registered to be part of Gaur Nation, FC Goa's unique membership programme, a 10% discount on individual match day tickets and a 15% discount on the purchase of additional season tickets is on offer. Members shall also stand to benefit from a special discount on the purchase of official FC Goa merchandise.
