Fr Agnel YSC, Paroda registered a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Ambelim SC to progress further in the St Rock’s Super Soccer Inter-Village Football Tournament, held at the Majorda Ground on Monday.
Selvin Fernandes opened the scoring for Fr Agnel YSC, followed by a second goal from Reagan Costa to give Paroda a commanding lead. Rozwin Fernandes pulled one back for Ambelim SC, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide.
Despite being on the losing side, Rozwin Fernandes was named Man of the Match for his standout performance
