Ishaan Colaso, Aarish Shaikh, Kedar Nair, and Ashank Dalvi stormed into the semifinals of the U11 Boys category at the DBO–Edcon All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025, underway at Don Bosco Oratory, Panjim.
Top seed Ishaan continued his impressive form, defeating Shreysht Rane 3-0, while second seed Aarish outplayed Kris Silveira 3-0 in another one-sided encounter. Local favourite Kedar Nair advanced after a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Kavin Hasija, and Ponda boy Ashank Dalvi completed the semifinal lineup with a commanding 3-0 win over Aveer Shah. Earlier, in the pre-quarterfinals, Ishaan overcame Vivaan Sasmal 3-0, Shreysht beat Vivaan Rane 3-0, Aarish downed Ved Sanvordekar 3-0, Kris defeated Arjun Rane 3-0, Kavin edged past Prem Chopdekar 3-2, Kedar blanked Shiv Chopdekar 3-0, Aveer overcame Vardhan Verlekar 3-1, and Ashank powered past Nuroddin Shaikh 3-0.
Meanwhile, in the Boys U15 category, the qualifying rounds concluded with Vivaan Prabhudesai, Bhaavan Srivastava, Adhiraj Badave, Kaushik Nair, Ashank Dalvi, Yuvaan Sanke, Noel Kurian, and Shreysht Rane making it to the main draw. The tournament, a a selection event for the Nationals, has been organised by Don Bosco Oratory, Panjim, in aegis with the Goa Table Tennis Association and supported by Edcon Constructions.
