Prashant Kakode has been appointed as GCA U-19 boys coach for the season 2017-18. He will resume his duties with immediate effect as Kakode showed his willingness to train junior level boys.
He was a former Ranji
captain and coach and his decision is welcome by the Managing Committee. Since he will coach Junior levele has resigned as from the post of CEO.

IOA gives Goa green signal to host National Games in 2018: Ajgaonkar

Sports Minister, Manohar Ajgaonkar on Wednesday disclosed that the Indian Olympic Association has awarded the hosting rights of the 36th National Games to Goa, scheduled for November 2018 and has asked the State to proceed with the preparations for the mega event.
