Margao Cricket Academy on its tour of Jaipur-Gwalior, ended the tour of Jaipur on a high note after beating Sanskar Cricket Academy by 60 runs at Sanskar cricket grounds, Jaipur.
Winning the toss and batting first, MCA scored 196/9 in 40 overs with a captain’s knock of unbeaten 60 by Kaushal Singh. Devan Chittam (31), Rajat Morajkar (15) and Sanath Nevagi (20) supported him well.
For Sanskar, Anirudh Rajput (4-24) was the pick of the bowlers. Kabir Yadav and Jayawardhan took a wicket each. In reply, Sanskar were restricted to 136/9 in 40 overs due to some fine bowling performances by Kaushal Singh (2-10), Devan Chittam (2-15), Vivek Patel (2-14), Saish Satardekar (2-8) and Tejas Sawant (1-10). Aditya Khateria (61) was the lone fighter for Sanskar. MCA will now travel to Gwalior on June 2 to play three matches.
