NAME OF THE CLUB: Clube Sao Minguel Taleigao
CURRENT STATUS: Goa Pro League, TACA U-20, GFA U-14
BLAST FROM THE PAST: The club traces itself to 1910 when it was founded. The club was promoted in the First Division in 1972. When Levino took over the Club in 2007, the Club was in the Third Division. In 2008-09, the Club was promoted to the Second Division. And in 2010-11 after 40 years, the Club returned to the First Division. Their best performance in the First Division was in their debut year 2010-11 itself where they narrowly missed by a single point to advance to the higher tier when they were placed second to Wilfred Leisure. After five years of being in the First Division, the players’ hard-work merited with a promotion for the ongoing Goa Pro League.
TROPHIES WON: In inter-village club tournaments CSM has got good success and have played many semi-finals and finals.

In the Goa Football Association age-group tournaments, CSM have been the U-14 and U-16 runner-up in Ilhas Zone in 2012-13, U-18 all Goa Runner-up, 2014-15, U-20 Taca Goa Runner-up, 2014-15, Winner of First Division League, 2015-16
CLUB STRENGTH: Levino Anthony Pereira has taken the charge of the club in April 2007 as the President. The other core club members include Vice President Antonio Almeida, General Secretary Michael Mascarenhas, Treasurer “ Nicholas Falcao, Sports Secretary “ Cedric Paeixto
The team is managed by Technical director, Pascoal Pereira, with Levino Anthony Pereira as Coach, Ramesh Palker as Assistant Coach, Vardhan Haldankar as Manager.
TOP PERFORMERS: In the year 2007, players who played for U-14 are now representing CSM in the Goa Pro League. These include players like Rohan Shaikh, Vikram Balekar, Yogesh Gauns, Shashank Naik, Gourav Kankonkar, Jayesh Kadam, Octavio Miranda, Salu Santos, Prajot Mondal, Devendra Murgaonkar, Vinesh Shirodkar. There are Club senior players like Ramesh Palker, Xavier Estrocio, Krishnanath Shirodkar, Sherwin Lobo. Goal-scoring machine Promod Mardolkar is still giving his best performances. Only Suraj Haldonkar has taken a transfer to Cavelossim Club. Rohan Shaikh, Karan Shirodkar, Devendra Murgaokar, Vinesh Shirodkar has been playing for U-19 I-League for Salgaocar Football Club Juniors.
