MARGAO: Maina Sports Club downed St Anthony’s Sports Club, Assolda 2-0 to storm into the semi-finals of Mandopa Cup inter village football tournament organised by Mandopa Sports Club at Mandopa ground, on Saturday. The highlight of the match was a brilliant brace by striker Milagres Fernandes. After a goalless first half, Maina upped the ante and scored in the 39th minute when Milagres converted through a snap shot. In the 56th minute, Milagres struck a second time to clear his team’s path to the last four.
