MCC Tigers clinch thrilling 2-run victory over MCC Stallions

In a nail-biting encounter at the MCC Ground, Margao, the MCC Tigers edged past MCC Stallions by just 2 runs in the MCL 11 T20 cricket tournament. The match went down to the final over, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats.

Batting first, MCC Tigers were bowled out for 165 runs in 19.4 overs. While chasing, MCC Stallions were dismissed for 163, falling short by just 2 runs.

The Man of the Match award was presented to MCC Tigers’ Ketan Kunde for his brilliant performance. Batting first, MCC Tigers posted 165 runs in 19.4 overs, despite losing both openers cheaply. Key contributions came from the middle order, with Nikit Naik Dalal (38), Vaibhav Naik (37), and Ketan Kunde (35) stabilizing the innings. Rueben Karekar (34) and Marzinho Almeida Coutinho (35) kept the chase alive, followed by skipper Nikhil Virginkar’s 34. However, the Tigers held their nerve in the final overs to seal a dramatic win.
