The team ” comprising Jesus Bonny, Shawn Soares, Anthony Mendes, Ratnadeep Shivani, and Joseph Sequeira ” finished second in Group D behind group leaders Spinmoon 5 (Maharashtra), securing a well-deserved spot in the knockout stage. They now face a tough challenge in the quarterfinals against the formidable Toss Academy (Maharashtra), who topped Group A with dominant performances.
Joining Peddem A in the quarterfinals are group toppers Toss Academy (Maharashtra), MP Lions (Madhya Pradesh), Accolades (Karnataka), and Spinmoon 5 (Maharashtra), along with second-placed teams Sanmitra (Pune), Guru Academy (Maharashtra), and Karnataka Spinners.
The knockout matchups promise high-voltage action, with MP Lions taking on Sanmitra (Pune), Accolades (Karnataka) facing Guru Academy (Maharashtra), and Spinmoon 5 clashing with Karnataka Spinners. The veterans' championship has seen top-ranked players across four states competing in 39+, 49+, and 59+ categories, blending high-level table tennis with a spirit of camaraderie and sporting fellowship.
