Norde to miss Bagan's Yangon trip

Mohun Bagan will be leaving for Myanmar on Sunday night to play their Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup away fixture against Yangon United FC but will be without the services of Haitian star midfielder Sony Norde.

Norde sustained an injury in the last I-League encounter against DSK Shivajians and had to be stretchered off the field. The match will be played on April 13 at the Thuwunna Stadium.

Mohun Bagan won the home game 3-2 against Yangon United FC played on March 16 with Norde and Jeje Lalpekhlua getting on the score sheet. Bagan have played three games in Group G with nine points to lead the group. The most notable win was against South China played at Hong Kong which the team won handsomely with a scoreline of 4-0.
