Parth and Arnav win Men's doubles title; Trisha Vinod and Maaz Khan clinch mixed doubles crown

Nineteen-year-old Parth Deorukhakar won the Open Men's Singles title in the prestigious Gadre Gaspar Dias Open 2026, even as Unnathi V. Muralidhar won the Open Women's Singles crown, defeating Praneeth Venugopal and Nidi S, respectively, on the final day of the tournament at the iconic Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias courts in the state capital. Parth also went on to win the Men's doubles final, clinching a double at the tournament.
While Maharashtra-based Parth won the tough two-set final encounter 7-6(2), 7-5, Unnathi, in a gritty encounter, came from a set down to defeat Nidi 2-6, 6-4, 10-3 to win the women's title.
In junior girls’ action, Gargi Oak showcased her dominance in the Girls Under-12 final, defeating Urvi Pai Panandiker 4-0, 4-0 to claim the title in commanding fashion. Gargi went on to add another trophy to her tally in the Girls Under-16 category, overcoming Tvisha Sardesai 4-1, 4-1 in the final to complete a double at this year’s tournament.
The Boys Under-16 final produced a tightly contested three-set battle, with Arav Naik edging past Kyan Mavany 4-0, 2-4, 11-9 in a match that swung momentum multiple times before Arav held his nerve in the match super tiebreak. In the Boys Under-12 final, Kriyansh RM defeated Divyaraj Chouhan 4-1; (7)3-4 10-7 in another closely fought encounter to clinch the title.
Earlier in the Boys' Under-12 semi-finals, Divyaraj had defeated Ethan 4-2, 4-2, while Kyan booked his place in the Boys' Under-16 final by overcoming Shaurya 4-1, 4-2.
In the men’s doubles section, Parth Deorukhakar and Arnav Bansode clinched the final, defeating Ashwin Narsinghani and Prathamesh Patil 7-6(4), 6-2. The Mixed Doubles final saw Trisha Vinod and Maaz Khan combine effectively to defeat Anupama Darade and Eshaan Khadeer 7-6(6), 6-0, claiming the mixed doubles title.
The winners in the 11th edition of the tournament were awarded prizes at a formal prize distribution ceremony by Sankalp Thali, Business Head, Gadre Premium Seafood; Edwin Menezes, former secretary and executive committee member of the host club; Vinesh Pickle, treasurer of the host club; Bulu Godinho, head of the tournament's organising committee; and Sameer Kakodkar, president of the Goa State Tennis Association.
