Goa Cricket Association Yellow edged past GCA Green in a Super Over thriller, while GCA Blue defeated GCA Red by four wickets in the Queen Cup Women’s T20 Trophy 2025-26 matches played at NAPEX, Porvorim, on Wednesday.
In the first match, GCA Green scored 145 for 3 in 20 overs after electing to bat. Tanaya Naik remained unbeaten on 51, while Divya Naik made an unbeaten 38 and Krupa Patel added 38. Vidika Sawant and Savali Kolambkar picked up a wicket each for Yellow.
In reply, GCA Yellow matched the total at 145 for 4 in 20 overs. Tejashwini Duragad top-scored with 63 off 46 balls, while Diksha Amonkar contributed 50. Pooja Kalel, Tanaya Naik, Harshada Kadam and Poorva Bhaidkar claimed a wicket each for Green.
The match went into a Super Over, where Yellow posted 15 runs, powered by an unbeaten 13 from Tejashwini Duragad. Green managed only eight runs in reply as Yellow registered their second successive victory in the tournament.
In the second match, GCA Red were bowled out for 105 in 18.1 overs. Ruchi Kumbhar scored 17, while Tanisha Gaikwad, Joya Meer and Mitali Gawander chipped in with 14 runs each.
For Blue, Pooja Yadav returned figures of 3 for 15, while Atashree Shivarkar and Purvaja Verlekar claimed two wickets each.
Chasing 106, GCA Blue reached 106 for 6 in 18.5 overs. Captain Purvaja Verlekar struck 51 off 40 balls, while Atashree Shivarkar added 11 runs. Siddhi Savase picked up 3 for 19 for Red, but Blue secured their first win of the tournament.
