Top seeds Ruhaan Shaikh (1) and Yug Prabhu (2) set up a high-voltage clash in the U13 Boys final at the Ulhas Jewellers BPS All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025, underway at the Multipurpose Stadium in Fatorda.
Ruhaan breezed past Yuvaan Sanke 3-0 in the semifinals, while Yug outclassed Ishaan Colaso with an identical scoreline. In the quarterfinals, Ruhaan defeated Kavish Dalvi 3-0, Yuvaan beat Ashank Dalvi 3-0, Ishaan edged Vedant Wagle 3-2, and Yug blanked Kaushi Nair 3-0 to book his spot in the last four.
In the U-15 Girls category, top seed Ishita Colaco and second seed Aarna Lotlikar advanced to the finals after strong semifinal performances. Ishita swept past Samaira Verlekar 3-0, while Aarna overcame a spirited challenge from Anaya Srivastava to win 3-1.
Meanwhile, in the U-13 Girls draw, Aarna Lotlikar, Inara D’Souza, Kavyaa Khalap, Gianna George, Sachi Dessai, Samaira Verlekar, Tisha Shaikh, and Aayushi Amonkar have entered the quarterfinals with confident wins.
The tournament, organised by BPS Sports Club in association with the Goa Table Tennis Association, continues to showcase Goa’s finest young talent as it heads into the higher categories in the coming days.
