MARGAO: Sao Jose de Areal SC cruised to a 4-1 victory against CAC Cansaulim on Wednesday, securing their place in the quarterfinals of the 13th OL Fatima Cup Inter-Village Football Tournament, organized by Dicarpale SC at the Dicarpale ground.
Leading 2-0 at halftime, Sao Jose de Areal SC saw Darryl Costa deliver a standout performance with a hat-trick, while Aryan Carvalho added another goal. CAC Cansaulim’s lone goal came from Aaron Fernandes.
Darryl Costa was awarded the Man of the Match trophy, presented by Andrew Ferrao, Cansaulim, and a football promoter from Velsao and GFA Executive member.
