Tejas, Bulu, Standal and Gustavo entered the semi-finals of the Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias Open 2016.
Standal Pereira came through a grueling game against Nagesh. Both players fought it out till the end with Standal getting the all important point to seal the win 9-8 in his favour. Bulu on the other hand has been showing great form in this tournament and came up with a 9-6 win over Newton to seal his place in the last four. Standal and Bulu were joined by Tejas and Gustavo to complete the semi-finals spots.
In the ladies semi-finals, Simran Khan got the better of Manuela as she progressed into the finals, winning in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 and will take on Charmaine. Charmaine won the second semi-final 6-4, 7-5. The ladies final will be played on January 31.
In men's doubles, Sachin and Raju came out on top with a 9-7 win over Allan and Noel while Kevin and Noah won 9-5 over Jude and Nagesh. Tejas and Bulu overcame David and Manoj 9-1. Gustavo and Santosh got a bye over Ashley and Newton as Ashley sustained an injury.
