The U-19 boys football team of St. Thomas Higher Secondary School, Aldona, produced an impressive performance in the U-19 Football Tournament – Zone I, to secure a well-deserved place in the semifinals.
In their opening match, St. Thomas HSS Aldona played out an exciting 2–2 draw against St. Xavier’s HSS, Mapusa in regulation time. Demonstrating tremendous composure and determination, the Aldona boys prevailed in the tie-breaker to book their place in the next round.
The team delivered a commanding performance in the second match, defeating Harmal Panchkroshi HSS, Harmal, by a convincing 3-0 margin.
