The Amateur Taekwondo Sports Association, Goa announced selection trials for the selection of Goa team to participate in the 4th Sub-Junior and Senior National Taekwondo Championship 2025 (Kyorugi and Poomsae) to be held from August 28 to September 2 at Cuttack, Odisha organized by India Taekwondo which is recognized by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India, Indian Olympic Association, World Taekwondo and Asian Taekwondo Union.
The trials will be held on August 17, at Vasco. Sub-Junior players (Male/Female) who are within the age criteria born between, January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2016 and Senior athletes 17 years and above in the year 2025 i.e. born in the year 2008 or before are eligible for participating in the championship.
An athlete must compulsorily report for weigh-in sharp at 09.00 a.m. along with original Birth Certificate and a photograph. Should also carry Taekwondo Uniform (Kyorugi/Poomsae) and all the safety guards like Chest Guard, Head Guard, Mouth Guard, Arm Guard, Shin Guard, Groin Guard etc.
