Tilamola United Sports Club carved out a resounding 4-1 win over CRSC, Navelim in the GFA's Under 14 league at Rosary Grounds, Navelim on Friday. Tilamola United Sports Club led 2-0 at the break.
Both the teams started the game in an attacking fashion. As the match progressed, Tilamola United Sports Club took control and launched a barrage of attacks but without success during the first 10 minutes. CRSC created a scare when Freldom Gomes' snap shot flew over the cross bar. At the other end, Tilamola United Sports Club did not lag behind and Vealtone Fernandes' smart header missed the target narrowly. Tilamola United Sports Club's breakthrough came in the 28th minute when Melroy Clemente bulged the net.
Buoyed by the lead, Tilamola United Sports Club upped the ante and Kevin Rebello doubled the lead in the 33rd minute. Crossing over, Tilamola United Sports Club slackened their pace after taking a 2-0 cushion. Sushant Pateyker scored the consolation goal for CRSC in the 38th minute. Unfazed Tilamola United Sports Club went into attacking mode and in the 45th minute, Melroy Clemente struck a second time to register his brace as Stephen Fernandes drilled the final goal into the rival coffin in the 49th minute.
