PANAJI: Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao will be organizing their annual 7-a-side Inter-ward Football Tournament for Sao Miguel Trophy from July 4th onwards near Taleigao Church. Cash prizes of Rs 20,000/-and Rs. 15,000/- will be awarded to the winners and runners-up respectively. Only players from areas under Taleigao Panchayat and CCP jurisdiction and age group players are eligible to play in this tournament. The last date to submit the entries is June 28, till 12 noon.
PANAJI: The1st Goa Biathlon will be organized by Lotlikar & Co for open category (men & women) seniors, juniors, sub-juniors boys and girls will beheld on November 22 from 7 am to 6 pm onwards at SAG swimming pool complex, Campal, Panaji. Biathlon is an event that involves a run, swim and run course. Participants desirous of taking part in the competition should give their entries to swimming coach Deepak Chhetry or may log on to the website www.goabiathlon.com for online registration. Entry forms will be available at all the swimming complexes in Goa and at Lotlikar & co, Panaji.
