Verna Veterans beat Ponda Veterans 3-1 to move into the next round of the Vasco Veterans Football Tournament organised by Vasco Veterans at Chicalim ground, on Wednesday. Jacinto Abranches of Verna netted a brace in the 18th and 22nd minute, six minutes later Vincent Colaco of Verna netted a goal to make it 3-0. While Augostinho Rodrigues of Ponda pulled a goal back in the 49th minute.
