Parra Verla Canca Association went down 1-2 to Xetrapal SC at Duler Stadium, Mapusa in the GFA Second Division League (Bardez) on Friday.
Parra took the lead in the 15th minute through Rowell Pinto’s brilliant diving header, off a swinging cross from Vijendra Shetye, which beat Xetrapal custodian Salil Chari hands down. At the half hour mark, Vaibhav Mayekar and Vipul Pednekar muffed easy chances to equalise for Xetrapal.
Post resumption, Xetrapal found the equaliser in the 58th minute through Vipul Pednekar, who converted a Bradley Lobo cross. Sagar Batkhande scored the winner for Xetrapal in the stoppage time.
