PANAJI: Arjun Rane and Yajat Keny have reached the Boys U9 final of the YMCA All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, being organised by YMCA Panjim in association with the Goa Table Tennis Association and SAG at the Indoor Stadium, Campal.
In the quarterfinals, Arjun Rane caused an upset by defeating top seed Urvansh Pathak 3-1, while Vivaan Rane defeated Mark D’Costa 3-0. Yajat Keny registered a comfortable 3-0 victory over Anshuman Lokapure, and Ronan Menezes Gama defeated second-seeded Kavish Singh 3-0.
In the semifinals, Arjun Rane continued his impressive run, overcoming Vivaan Rane in a closely fought 3-2 encounter to book his place in the final. Yajat Keny also produced a strong performance, upsetting second seed Ronan Menezes Gama 3-1 to set up the title clash against Rane.
