Zantye college Bicholim won the inter-college kabbadi title at the varsity championships, organised by Goa University at University grounds recently. In the final match they defeated Mallikarjun College, Canacona.
The winning team comprised of Akash Raut, Nagesh Godekar, Naresh Mansula, Ajinkyasen Rane, and Viraj Gadekar. They were guided by coaches Satyawan Harmalkar, Devendra Joshi, Jairam Gad, Prasad Gad and Pandurang Naik. College trustee Umesh Zantye, Suresh Zantye and others also encouraged the players.
