Active Youth Soccobhatt Per Seraulim made easy work of S Mini Mart by defeating them 3-0 in the Inter-Seraulim U-16 league football tournament, organised by United Sports Club of Seraulim, at Seraulim panchayat ground.
Active Youth Soccobhatt dominated the proceedings of the game and scored their first goal through their star striker Proson Mandal when his power-packed shot which entered the far corner of the goal in the 11th minute.
At half-time, Active Youth lead led by a goal. Post resumption, Active Youth continued to dominate and in the run of play Manglash Bannikappa scored the second goal after he dribbled past two defenders and smartly placed the ball through the advancing goalkeeper. Proson Mandal rounded the tally when he smartly tap the ball from close range after receiving a pass from the left flank from Vance Fernandes.
In the second match, Young Blood Seraulim defeated Cameroon Boys 2-0.
Sohan scored his first goal in the 17th minute when his shot from close range. The second goal came in the 34th minute when Sohan sheer speed took the defense by surprise as he intelligently placed the ball through the advancing keeper.
