PANAJI
The students of V. M. Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE), Manora Raia, recently participated in the inter-collegiate swimming championship held at the Campal, Panaji Indoor Stadium Swimming Pool.
Anoushka Rodrigues, first year B.Sc. Culinary Arts student bagged two silver medals in her category. Her impressive timings in 50m Freestyle was 37 seconds and 50m Backstroke was 46 seconds.
Arman Syed participated in 100m and 200m freestyle, Joshua De Souza in 100m freestyle, Pranav Joshi in 100m Butterfly and 100m Breaststroke.
Prof. Irfan Mirza, Director & Principal of the Institute, congratulated Anoushka Rodrigues for her outstanding performance. The team was trained by Shubham Lokre, Director of Physical Education & Sports.
