ATK Mohun Bagan goalkeeper Arindam Bhattacharya has been voted the Indian player of the year at the Indian Football Awards 2020-21, organised by the Football Players Association of India (FPAI). FC Goa striker Igor Angulo received the best foreign player award. NorthEast United’s Khalid Jamil emerged as the best coach while midfielder Lalengmawia was voted the best young player. Bengaluru FC striker Sunil Chhetri, Roy Krishna and Jerry Mawihminghthanga received the corresponding awards for the last season (2019-20).
