A brace from Royson Colaco paved the way for the victory, while Moirangmayam Foson Meetei and Edwin Kaloskar added one goal each. Fared Awomi scored a consolation goal for Churchill Brothers.
In another close encounter, Dempo Sports Club edged past Sesa Football Academy 1-0, with Necio Fernandes netting the decisive goal during injury time.
Meanwhile, at Guirim Ground, FC Goa secured a comfortable 3-0 win over Sporting Clube de Goa. Goals from Konsam Singh, Shaikh Mohammed Ismail, and Kavya Katkar sealed the victory for the home side.
