Top seed Chandan Caro set up a finals clash with second seed Dhruva Kamat in Boys (U11) singles category, at the All Goa State Major Ranking Table Tennis Championship.
On the opening day of the week-long event at multipurpose stadium, Peddem, Chandan registered a comfortable 3-0 (11-6, 11-2, 11-5) win over Mark Da Costa in the first semifinals. Dhruva was made to work hard by Chinmay Bhakre in the other semis before prevailing for a 3-1 (11-5, 9-11, 11-4, 11-5) win.

Goa University TT trials on Dec 2
Goa University will conduct selection trials in table tennis (men and women) on Friday, December 2 at 9.30 am. Students interested in attending the trials may report at SAG Indoor Stadium, Campal, Panaji along with their college identity card and a playing kit.
The West Zone Inter University Table Tennis Championship for Women is tentatively scheduled from December 12 to 15 at University of Mumbai, Mumbai. The West Zone Inter University Table Tennis Championship for Men is tentatively scheduled from December 20 to 24 at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal.
