Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant endorsed the virtual ‘Rotary Rain Run Ride Challenge’ (RRRRC) to be held between September 15-19 and complimented the Rotary Club of Porvorim for their charity work in the field of cancer detection and treatment for women.
Releasing the event t-shirt in Porvorim on Thursday, the CM said, “The Rotary Club of Porvorim has been doing significant charity work in the Porvorim area of Goa. I am happy that this run and ride event is a fundraising activity to help their charity work in the field of cancer detection and cure.”
In a media release, Sagar Govekar, RCP president said, “This year owing to the pandemic we shall be having the ‘Rotary Rain Run’ in a virtual format over five days. The event will comprise a 5k and 10k walk, 10k, 25k, 50k, 100k runs and 25k, 50k, 100K cycle rides.” Participants can register for the event online at www.rainrun.rcporvorim.org.
