The match kicked off with the Alpha Boys exhibiting commendable zeal and determination in their quest for an early goal. Despite their spirited efforts, the sturdy defence of the Dados Boys proved to be a formidable barrier, resulting in a goalless deadlock at halftime.
The second half witnessed a rejuvenated Dados Boys squad clinch the eventual winner. Their persistence paid dividends when Preton managed to break the impasse, propelling the Dados Boys into the lead. Despite Alpha Boys' concerted efforts to level the score, they were thwarted by the steadfast defence led by Cavin.

In a pre-final exhibition match, Benaulim Veterans outplayed South Goa Veterans, securing a 4-2 victory.
