Vasantarao Dempo Higher Secondary School of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, etched secured an unprecedented third consecutive State Level Inter Higher Secondary School Football title after defeating Damodar Higher Secondary School, Gudi Paroda 4-0, at the Santa Cruz ground showcased their exceptional skill and dominance.
From the outset, Dempo HSS displayed their attacking prowess. Mehboob Tambake ignited the scoring spree in the 10th minute Ashon Vaz swiftly followed suit by doubling the lead in the 25th minute.
Five minutes later, Nash Fernandes delivered a spectacular header, sending the ball soaring into the net and solidifying Dempo's dominance before halftime.
The second half saw no respite for Damodar HSS. Pradeep Kullu, with a display of individual brilliance, weaved through three defenders and effortlessly slotted the ball home, sealing the victory and completing the rout.
